Could someone help me improve my creative prior to the HSC?

What aspects are you struggling with?

The main components i'm lacking is the showing not telling concept and descriptive writing to create imagery-- a part of that is telling them what is happening and not utilising all senses e.g. smelling, hearing etc...

My best advice is to make the creative as simple as possible --> Keep it to one setting and one/two character/s. Put in many similes, metaphors, and motifs. Make it first person & past tense, as this is easier for discovery. Also just describe the smells, sounds, feelings etc. using metaphors and similes as this add a bit more complexity and depth.
