K, im facing an issue... Well first ill give u my ranks (post trial). I already completed 3 unit and 2 unit maths... accelerated. im bombing english

Maths 3 unit hsc score 47/50
2 unit 96/100

Maths 4 unit 9/30 (happy)
Biology 6/40 (happy)
Physics 9/61 (happy)
English advanced 105/141 (dead...)
Engineering 3/22 (happy)

So what do u think my atar will be around. My school ranks around 27-30. Im happy with all subjects except english....and is it possible to get band 5 from this position for english?

Its hard to say for sure, but I'd imagine you would get maybe 80-83 in Advanced given your school ranking. Overall though, I'd estimate between 95-97.5. Whilst english will drag you down, your performance in your other subjects is good enough to compensate for it.

Yer im aiming for low band 6 in bio and physics and engineering. Mid band 6 for 4 unit. Hopeeeeeeeeefullly a band 5 in english

Hmm, that's a shame you've stuffed up English. But you should be heaps happy with all your other marks. At this stage maybe 96, but go well in the externals for English and you might see a 98 or so.

Ouch for english

I would've estimated 98.75+ but seeing english i'm downgrading it to 92+

A good english score is usually 85+/105 for a Band 6 (though last year was a joke as the module questions were predictable)

K i scored for trials 70/105 , which is fail i know. However i believe i should be able to get 85/105 or higher. i needa at least get 95.65 atar

Its a shame you did so bad in english, you would be doing really well!

I estimate 95-97 assuming you show an improvement in your externals for english
