Easy 95+. Your english rank isn't that bad (kinda). Like its alright but it won't do too much in bringing down your atar, especially that your bossing your other subjects. Im averaging 65% in English standard. Yes, standard

English (or any other) ranks don't actually matter too much. English marks do.

Nonetheless 70% raw mark in English isn't too bad, and while it's pulling you down, your results in mathematics, chemistry and software more than make up for it. There are many Band 5 Englished Advanced and Standard students who receive 98+ ATARs every year.

Of course, this is all assuming that the difficulty of your trials were standard (e.g. around the same level as imported trials).

Not quite. Of course, it helps, but most people I know with 98-99 ATAR have only around half of their subjects in the Band 6 range. And looking at the data, this should be expected.

Minimum 97, atleast based on a friend with similar marks as you but slightly different subjects. Most likely high 98s / low 99s. Ofcourse external performance is itself another beast to conquer...
