These are my current ranks in my courses:


Ancient History: 4/17

Biology: 3/11

Visual Arts: 1/14

English Advanced: 4/18

English Extension 1: 1/4

English Extension 2: 1/3


I was also wondering how most people had theirs estimated from their ranks..?
Is it because your rank can scale you higher, thus giving you a higher ATAR? I'm a little confused on that end.

Higher Rank, plus School Rank = Estimate of ATAR (school rank helps determine an estimate)

Exams Sat: 493
DA: 9
%: 1.83

With that school rank and your rank within the school, your ATAR will be mostly up to you.

I strongly suggest you aim to get 1st in everything if you're aiming for 90+

If your school was in the Top 100, you would of gotten 95+ with those course ranks. Particularly as you are first in 3U and 4U for English

In saying this, if you finish top 3 FOR ALL SUBJECTS, you should receive an Atar of at least 90.

If you were in top 100, 97+ would be easily in reach if you killed VA and ancient. If not, 95+ would be your likely ATAR

I think I'm starting to dislike my school, lol. I hope my grade does well.

Oh well, I'll try my best to push those ranks to the top three, at the very least!

Then you better come 1st for basically all your subjects if you want 95+ unless you have a freak of nature in one of them. If you do have a freak of nature in one of your subjects, come 2nd and try and make the mark difference between you and the freak of nature as small as possible
