Hey, so i finished my half yearlies a few weeks ago and i was really disappointed with my ranks and marks, here is where im sitting throughout the whole year

School rank 198
Standard English 40/110
Business studies 15/66
Mathematics 24/36 :(
Physics : 11/24
Chemistry 6-7/22

What sort of ranks would i need for a 90+ atar?

Thanks haha, but i have a feeling from reading other atar estimates that ill need higher ranks than those, but ill try get there, english will be a struggle, i just needed harder questions for maths since the textbook the school gave us is really easy :S

maths in focus.. its really easy, nothing like the exam questions:(
I suggest u purchase/borrow cambridge or a terry lee book cos they have harder questions to do. I also think u should download some past practice papers from different schools. I know one of the users called nerdasdasd has many papers for many of the subjects u do.

I would talk to the person who handles school marks at your school and discuss with them what ranks you need. Generally, a lot of schools are very volatile so its hard to discern from a yearly basis. Another method is to do reverse ATAR calculations on ATAR calculators, so you see what external marks you need and using appropriate judgement, you can figure out what ranks you need internally :)

84/85 right now.
Improve your Maths if you can and Physics, but English specifically.
