That incredibly difficult chemistry exam has destroyed my confidence in getting a decent ATAR, so I need informed opinions on what kind of ATAR/Bands can I hope for:

my school is ranked around 300 (could be high 200 to high 300)

my internal ranks:
Standard English 5/109
Advanced Maths 5/29
Biology 5/54
Chemistry 9/23
PDHPE 2/40

Feeling very confident re HSC PD and Bio exams, a bit less, but still ok English and Maths, and Chemistry :confused2:o_O

We usually need a bit more information like number of band 6s in the past few years, and maybe your trial marks and cumulative school marks. From what I see here maybe 90 but this is just a wild stab. If you want to do physio (as you've noted a few times on the forums) apply to ACU because 90 would be enough with their bonus points I'm pretty sure.

yep, that's the plan re physio ;)

Standard English at least 10 Band 5s per year (no Band 6)
Maths 2-5 Band 6s (but hoping my cohort is more academic)
PDHPE, Biology and Chemistry also up to 4 Band 6s

Trials:
Chemistry 66%
PDHPE 88%
Maths Adv 88%
Eng Standard 85%
Biology 84%

As I said my cohort is supposed to be more academic (and larger) than previous, but hard to predict.

How I feel now, I think my only chance to get a Band 6 is PDHPE. Biology and Mathematics will depend on scaling. I am hoping for a Band 5 in English, but hard to predict my raw HSC mark. In Chemistry it would be awesome if it scales up to Band 5, but really not confident with that one

Would you know if ACU would give me all 12 bonus points e.g. if I get 4 x Band 5 in the relevant subjects? If so, even 85-86 ATAR would get me in.
