Go to a mid 150's school which usually get around 3 98+ each year, 1 99+.
The ranks are overall though.

These are raw trial marks from CSSA exams.
English Adv. - 92% (rank 1/80)
Chemistry - 81% (rank 1/30)
4u Maths - 68% (rank 1/5)
3u Maths - 97% (rank 1/10)
Physics 75% (rank 1/30)
Religion 1u - 88% (rank 1/110)

Need around 99.4/5 to have a good chance of getting into Med.

99+, higher depending on your external performances (up to 99.95).

You literally have complete control on your entire HSC/ATAR. Work extremely hard (in all except religion, won't count) and you can achieve 99.95.

Although it's theoretically possible to get 99.95, considering your school rank, the typical rank 1 in all of those subjects will be more around 99.50 or so. Also, cohort sizes would also help.
