I have gotten results back and I am not very pleased about my results, so I would like to know my ATAR estimate and the effects of scaling of subjects/ranks etc.

Chemistry task 1: 50% (15% weight), rank 8/12
Physics Task 1: 83% (15% weight), rank 3/9
Biology: 96% (20% weight), rank 2/24
Adv.English: 83% (15% weight), rank 10/18
2 unit math task 1: 64% (15% weight), task 2: 63% (25% weight), rank 5/9
Ext. 1 math task 1: 64% (15% weight), rank 2/3

Hmm, it would says an ATAR of about 70-80.

Really? My school rank is low 400's and we have 5 people doing 4-unit, with the lowest mark being 75%.
Just goes to show that externals are the most important exams.
