I was just wondering if you guys could give me a rough estimate of what range of ATAR I can expect from my rankings:

English Advanced: 30ish/70
Maths Ext 1 (3-unit): 1/65
Maths Ext 2 (4-unit): 2/25
Chemistry: 30ish/60
Biology: 1/35
PDHPE: 4/23

I go to Chatswood High School which was ranked about 160th last year but I think this years cohort is pretty smart.. newaiz cheers

As you have only 10 units, English Advanced and Chemistry will hurt you pretty badly due to your poor rankings. Although your school is ranked moderately high, you still need to ideally be within the top 10 for those subjects. That being said, however, the Ext. Maths will help your greatly in achieving a high ATAR. As for right now though, I'd say you're looking at about 85-90; purely due to the substantial disparity between Ad. Eng + Chem when compared to your other subjects.

Actually it adds upto 12 units because ext 1 and ext 2 each count for 2 units each (4-unit maths).. So I can afford to screw up one of these subjects prob chem..
Also the selective stream and nonselective get combined in yr 11/12 at our school So ye I'm pretty much competing with the selective peeps As I'm aiming for top 10 everything

Oh I thought you dropped the 2unit when you decided to the Extensions. Well in that instance, I'd say 90-95 but again Ad. Eng is counted no matter what so you'd want to be looking at top 10 to have a chance at a high ATAR (i.e. >97).

You're in the 90 - 94 range at the moment... but that does depend on the spread of the ranks in English and Chemistry. If they're close that ATAR will be boosted a fair bit.

To be honest you're probably looking at an ATAR of 95-97.
