I'd say 99+ is still possible, if you get say 95+ in your other subjects and 87+ in English, that's still in the region of 99+. I think you just need to get a score past the median (as I suspect the median ATAR is around 98-99).

High ranking schools schools are very hard to estimate, because we know that for high ranking schools, the standard is quite high and we know you guys perform well as a cohort. So even with the appearance of a low rank, the actual mark you get might be high enough for the ATAR you need. In actuality, we should really estimate you based on exam performance over rank, as the standard in higher ranked schools either equals or exceeds HSC standards.

Well averaged out exam marks have been
95% chem
95% phys
93% mx1
85% mx2
11/15 and 15/20 for last two english essays
i'm fairly sure most of our school exams are of a higher or equal standard to hsc, and english, chem and phys are marked much harder at school

We have 130 get band 6 in english last year, if that helps

Definitely 99+ given that you get a mid Band 5 for English, if not a Band 6.

Definitely a 99+, basing that you will get good band 6/e4 results in all your subs bar English, and English you would most likely a high band 5.

Nah but the number of band 6's has been pretty consistent
also here are some more stats
average chem; 75 with high standard of deviation
average phys; 85 with low standard of deviation
average mx1; 80 with high standard of deviation
average mx2; 70 with high standard of deviation
english averages were 12 and high 16's respectively
