School Rank - 300th (lol didn't think it was this bad, but usually it's a bit higher)

Individual Ranks:
Modern History - 1/14
Legal Studies - 1/7
Studies of Religion II - 1/54
Mathematics - 4/11
English Advanced - 2/17
English Extension I - 1/4 (terrible cohort)

Trial Marks:
Modern History - 90/100
Legal Studies - 89/100
Religion - 94/100
Maths - 61/100
English - 82.5/105
English Extension - 36/50

As you can see, my maths mark is worrying but I think I can get that to 80/100 (at best) in the HSC, while I'm definitely aiming to gain another 3 or 4 marks in both English and Extension English. Hoping for low-mid 90s for Legal, Modern and RE.

It would be much appreciated if you could give me an ATAR estimate because I recently realised I was wrongly using a HSC ATAR Calculator and I'm quite confused atm. Thanks so much. My aim is 92+ :confused2:

bump - please, it doesn't have to be particularly accurate. Can anyone just give me a rough range (e.g. 90+)?

I get 89... but very low confidence given you are ranked 1st in many of your subjects and have small class sizes.

92+ definitely attainable if you perform well in the exams.

OK thanks a bunch. :)

But if in the HSC examination itself I got say.. what I got in my trial (low 90s for modern, legal and religion, low-mid 80s for english), but get mid 70s for maths, I'd get higher than 89 surely?

Sure... but the ATAR compares you against everyone in NSW, not just your school.

My estimate assumes you go to a 300 ranked school.. only 5% of units taken get 90+ HSC mark historically at your school.

For your situation, your teachers/careers advisor can prob give you a better estimate than I can.

Yeah I recognise this, I was just hoping that my trial marks (our teachers mark quite tough) would be a reflection of my ability to be that 5%.

But I appreciate your estimation, you're probably right anyway. I'm just glad that 92 is achievable, thanks.

If you are that 5% in all of your subjects then you are probably looking at 95+. That wouldn't surprise me at all.

Your case is probably the most difficult to estimate.
