Would like to get an estimate and can i reach a 79 atar and how much better will i need to improve in the hsc exams.

year before it was 120
these are overall ranks then trial marks moderated

English standard-40/54 68%
business studies-16/39 82%
economics-13/20 70%
geography-2/11 77%
Financial services- no ranks for tafe 75% in trial

I honestly think your cohort is quite strong. I mean trials is usually harder and approximately you guys got all band 4's and above according to your ranks. I think 79 is achievable and if anything you will be offered bonus points according to the area you live in (disadvantage area) OR you can get bonus points from the subjects you do according to how well you go. Good luck because i'm in that same position xx
