hi guys i just received my semester 2 report and was wondering if anybody could do an atar prediction? I heard @jimmysmith560 is the expert but if anyone else could help that would be great too :) For context, I go to a top 39 school and any advice on how people's predicted atar lined up with their real atar would help so so much as well ! These are my ranks for my subjects along with my school's band 6 rate last year:

- Agriculture: 1/22 (2 b6 last yr)
- Biology: 3/53 (22 b6 last yr)
- Chemistry: 23/116 (28 b6 last yr)
- Eng Adv: 27/184 (23 b6 last yr)
- Eng Ext 1: 10/49 (11 b6 last yr)
- Maths Adv: 23/103 (30 b6 last yr)

Thanks everyone !

From this information, your current performance seems consistent with an ATAR of up to 97. Your performance across your subjects is essentially of a high standard, with some differences between individual subjects.

Agriculture and Biology are your best-performing subjects, especially the former, where your rank is optimal. This means that should you achieve the highest HSC exam mark in your cohort for this subject, the moderation process will work in your favour. In such a case, your HSC exam mark will be made your overall HSC mark for this subject, giving you a great opportunity to maximise your result for this subject and consequently its contribution to your ATAR.

Your position in Chemistry, English Extension 1 and Mathematics Advanced is also favourable, meaning that these subjects are likely to make a positive contribution to your ATAR. Because of this, you must ensure that you keep preparing for their HSC exam to the best of your ability, hopefully allowing you to ensure favourable overall performance.

The same can be suggested about your performance in English Advanced, although to a slightly lesser extent. This means that compared to your other subjects, there is greater room for improvement in English Advanced. As such, you may wish to consider placing additional emphasis on your preparations for your English Advanced HSC exam.

I hope this helps! :D
