Dear BOS people,
A question from my friend....
My HSC internal's are pretty much screwed. If i achieve 90+ in all my subjects
for the external HSC marks is it possible to still achieve an ATAR of 80+?!
Here is my subjects and rank estimates;

-General Mathematics; 60/201
-Engineering Studies; 5/15
-General English; 70/224
-Physics; 17/29
-Information and Process Technology; 10/40

Please make my day and tell me it is still possible at this rate to achieve an final ATAR
mark of 80+! : (

i am not sure, it is definately not in the top 100, any chance you could refer me to a website to find out by query because i just tried to find it and could not

surprisingly it had schools located around me although it is still not there :S, anything else you could compare it against? Lets just say i my school is ranked 400th

Provided your school is ranked 400th or less, I reckon you are looking at 60-65 to be honest. I guess 80 might be a possibility, but its very unlikely (provided of course that your school is ranked outside the top 400 again this year).

Are you sure it's not on there? If you PM me your school, I'll see if I can pull any stats for it (even just the maths/english rank from 2011). Or maybe even 2009... I will never reveal your school publically btw, but it will help in my estimate.
