if the top two marks are close then its no problem, but if there are big gaps then there is a problem.

That's great to hear. I'm assuming what you said meant that if I was the only one up there with a huge mark difference to the second, I will get dragged down. However if there is at least two people up there, then we'll drag the rest up instead. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
