i need help.

i want to get an ATAR of at least 70. can anyone help me work out if ill get it?

My half yearly results were:
Adv. English - 69% and 47/60 (ranking)
Mathematics Gen.- 75% and 27/87
Comm&Fam Studies - 66% and 8/22
Food Tech - 62/100 and 8/24
Society&Culture - 72/100 and 11/20.

Any help would be really appreciated!

The median ATAR for 2009 was 70.25. Basically, if you're ranked somewhere in the top half of most of your subjects you should be able to get an ATAR of 70+.

So my school ranking is 463, Mudgee High.

Haha, oops. so what does this mean i should get?

I'd say you need to improve a bit if you want to get 70. Certainly you need to get into the top half of your courses. At the moment I'd guess you'd be looking at somewhere in the 50s or 60s.

Yeh, definitely need to get your ranks up quite a bit.
