like chemical engineering sounds so good but i would have to go to america or smth to actually earn and apply that knowledge properly. ive talked to a chemical engineer as well as many other people from diff professions i know and aus just limits everything

afaik aus is like all "professional" jobs so like finance, business, etc and then mining that make up our gdp , there is a stem sector but we dont really manufacture stuff anymore which limits the amount of engineering jobs in the country.
