Well today’s Avatar Day, anyone end up getting tickets for the 15min preview at IMAX?

New teaser trailer’s out as well, it’s on apple’s website: Apple - Trailers - James Cameron's Avatar

It’s got a massive budget as well - $237 million

Coming out December 17th

Cameron waited 15 years for the technology to be advanced enough to start producing it...

Steven Spielberg predicts it will be the biggest 3D live-action film ever…

The preview tickets were obtained if you won the competiton on the IMAX website, they wernt for sale

M. Night Shamalan is producing "The last Airbender", based on the "Avatar, the last airbender" or "Avatar, the adventures of Aang" series.

They are two massively different movies.

Shamalan had to call his move "The last Airbender" because "Avatar" (by Cameron) had already been announced and the title copyrighted.
