Lol. Well, it wasn't my priority subject but i was always organised for it completely & knew everything about my prescribed texts, related texts and the modules.

Average HSC Mark- 84.125
ATAR- 95.85

Although to be fair, I got in the 70s for Ext History and Ext 2 English and both didn't count in my ATAR.

Was your average HSC mark higher than your ATAR or was it the other way around?

For me, my ATAR was close to 10% more than my average HSC mark. This is probably mainly due to the fact I did Extension 1 and 2 Maths which scaled amazingly well. On the other hand I know friends who had an ATAR considerably lower than their average HSC mark.

Interested to see any trends.

I'll start.
Average HSC Mark: 86.2
2009 ATAR: 94.65
For a second I thought u were a friend of mine, she got the exact same ATAR.

congrats to all you leavers, most of you seem to have achieved 90+ ATAR, a real good acheivement. What I'm currently interested in is how all you did in yr 11, and how your final HSC marks compared to your Yr 11 results. If you can reply to see if there is a trend there, that would be great. cheers
