Haha wow. For some reason I'm not as good at ext.2 as my ext.1 marks would suggest. :(

Ext.1 - 75+
Ext.2 - low-mid 80s

I'm hoping I can improve my ext.2 marks after the english exams. English is just bleh.

well i flog all of you

i currently get about 50 in ext1 which is aimed at about 60 by the time the test rolls around.

and about 50 in ext 2 which will also bump up to 60+ or 70 hopefully when i actually revise mechanics which i just sorta didnt do.

and yes i do have a life outside of maths

I've been marking my solutions to the 4U HSC past papers
Not to boast or anything, just to give you guys an indication where I am
In the order I did them:

2003: 84
2004: 96
2005: 103
2001: 102

You'd be a fool to judge anything based on the people who will post in this forum to boost their own jaded self-esteem.

The key to increase your marks is to keep on doing past papers and marking them. The more you do it, the more you see where you are making the mistakes, because really, most of the questions aren't hard to do. Marks are lost from silly mistakes eg. silly complex, silly integration. The next time you do a past paper, you will avoid making the same mistakes, thus you'll increase your mark. This is what you should be doing in the follow up of Maths however it's not too late to wait until after English is over

failure i know
Well it's good to see that there's a steady increase as you do more past papers
Proved my point =)
Keep doing more and you'll hit the 70 mark, then the 80 mark and so on!

i had made this forum to see where everyone is at. i was also wondering if we had a state ranker among us. i didnt intend it to be a boasting forum.
