As in extended responses for history subjects and that sort of thing?

I dont know our modern teacher wants us to aim for at least 6 pages for each section but 4 pages seems reasonable, then again they're not A4 and the lines are pretty big so I suppose it depends on what subject and how much context and info, and of course the size of your writing.

On average...

I know I got 5 for English CW.

11 for English Journeys Essay

11 for English Advanced Module A.

6 for Modules B and C.

9 for business Studies report.

12 for business essay.

So about 9/10 on average. My writing isn't huge, but its not small. Medium sixed. But its quality not quantity the markers know that its not like they would sit there and go "woooooooooah only 4 pages thats it 10/20" Just like they wouldnt go "wow, 20 pages, full marks." And I know I have been going on about some shit.

Between five and a half and six atm.

Wait.

I just realised.

I never have to do another HSC extended response again...

EVER.

Holy shit. omfg. THAT IS AWESOME.

Let me check with myself - Chem, SDD and Maths do not require extended responses. Correct? Yes. Win.

No it doesn't.

There might be some short answers worth 6 or 7 marks but no actual extended response. It's all short answer.

That's fairly extended - I'll write around 3 pages for each.

I call extended anything over about half a page though.

Mines about 4 pages, anymore and i'd die.

how about everyone else?
wow ur lucky. i wish i could write that little. but i always feel i havent covered "enough" content. Hm well as a minimum i will write about 10 pages for anything. My writing begings neat and small but by the last 3 pages its quite sloppy so i'd say my writing is average. So far:

English paper 1

section1 - 9 pages
section 2 - 16 pages
section 3- 16 pages

English paper 2

emma/clueless- 15 pages
frontline- 16 pages
king lear- 15 pages.

i write quite alot but like many people have said quantity is not always quality but it does help as i am not too "sophisticated" in my resposnses yet i still manage to get average results.

You mean the BOS average or everyone else average?

Because they are very different.

Advanced English, around the 8 BOS pages, for Legal Studies, I got out 7 A4 pages for each option in the trial, so it'll translate to a bit in terms of BOS booklet pages. Extension English, really depends on what I'm writing about.
