b commerce / b economics courses (1 Viewer)

Hi there everyone,

I have chosen to do B Commerce/B Economics at UNSW and was wondering if the courses I have added are correct for the first semester:

ACCT1501
ECON1101
ECON1203
MGMT1001

PS: Will everyone do the same (in the first semester) or can we vary (e.g. take general courses etc as I have seen)

The course outline has changed in the past year, so any advice from older students is mostly outdated. But as far as I know, you're just doing the core courses for BComm/BEcon which is always a good place to start for a freshman. 90% of students will be doing the exact same courses you are. The other 10% will either do a Gen Ed course or a core course for their major (eg FINS1613).

I'm doing the same degree, and have chosen all the exact same subjects. It didn't feel unavoidable while I was making the timetable, but perhaps it is.
