so you have to pick a major from economics or political sicence, or political economy, etc., but are you allowed to have 2 other majors.

is this possible? can you take them from other faculties?

I don't think so.

Besides doing a major in either economics, government etc etc, you also have to do 12 senior credit points in a subject from table B.

So it doesn't look like you'd have enough room for a major in either Economics/Pol Eco/HR/Govt & International relations as well as two language majors

I just got an offer to this course as well, so I guess I'll see you there. I was trying to figure out what subjects I have to do first semester etc, and it was all very confusing. I think that I am going to have to wait until the enrolment day, and ask the faculty advisors then.
They really need to put more info about this up online

Umm they do?

If you follow the link I posted above, it tells you clearly what is required for you to do in the degree.

You then can easily search the individual subjects on usyd.edu.au

Hello there another ESS student as well! Choosing Political Economy and Government and International Relations, plus International Business. There's around 170 people going. Good course I say!

is a major in economics counted in senior credits outside of the faculty of arts? as you are only allowed 60 of these.

The rule as stated in the faculty resolutions is:

"2.1.4. no more than 60 credit points of units of study from Faculties other than Arts and Economics and Business."

No that's all credit points outside of those two faculties. It should give you just enuogh credit points to do a major outside of those faculties
