Hey any sort of help will be very much appreciated. Im currently about half way through first semester of economics and i am doing ACCT1501, ECON1101, ECON1202 and ECON1203. What i wanted to know is do i have to do the other cores which are ECON1102, ECON1401, ECON2101 and ECON2206 in second semester? If not what should i do? I dont want to pick the wrong courses and posssibly extend my time at uni..

Thanks in advance :)

it doesn't really matter what you pick really. but if you don't want to risk having to stay back in uni, it's best if you finish all your core courses first and if you have any slots remaining, start on your majors.

Thanks wantingtoknow. For some reason i thought i had to do subjects like econ2102 and econ2206 in second year primarily because they're level 2 courses.. :S

OP, i'm in the exact same position as you. I'll be completing the rest of the cores in semester 2 (come at me, intro econometrics). Have you got a copy of the economics guide 2012? (IIRC they're provided by EcoSoc) There's a few sample programs detailed at the back

Bump; particularly in regards to when ECON2206 should be taken (1st year 2nd semester or 2nd year 1st semester). I don't really want to take it next semester if there's only going to be 2nd years.
