heya.

The health science course is basically about everything related to health eg health care systems and policies, how health affects society and the individual etc. You also pick a second major, which can be anything (people have chosen everything from management to philosophy).

And yes you can complete this course and go on to do a M Nuclear Medicine, but you have to maintain at least a credit average (65%+).

i don't know if there is a longer or shorter way - the average should be the same. but remember, even if you do get 65% there is no guarantee that you will make it into the MNM.

if you get a credit average, there is a guarantee into a masters provided you have chosen the right majors etc. The only thing that is not guaranteed is a commonwealth supported place during your masters.

that guarantee doesn't exist anymore, they stopped it starting this year.

Oh really? So we still have it right? Its dennis by the way ;)
yeah we do (and i know its you dennis haha)

oh really, so whats a commonwealth supported place ?
its when the government pays some of your tuiton fees. in undergrad its all CSP so you don't have to worry about it.
in the masters it will cost you around 50k to do your course, unless you do well and qualify for a CSP.

do you also need to take bio or physics as a pre requisite ?
They will say you need bio and chemistry, but i don't really think so. so long as you have done at least one science you should be ok.
You just need to pick up the concepts quickly, which can be easily done if you keep up with your readings etc.
