if theres anyone that does this course, can you briefly tell me how it is.
because i didn't get into uni this year, so im going tafe next semester, for media and communications.
i'd like to know whether there basically the same thing and i should just stay at tafe or maybe a year later see if i can traansfer to uow for media n communications?

Late reply, but hey, better late then never.

Well, there are a few people who did Tafe first in my classes, and they seem to see it as similar. But I am enjoying the course, its pretty good, however, some of the things we do I barely count as 'university' type work.

I am actually considering doing screen studies now as well. But you don't start any screen studies stuff until second year, or in my case, third year.

It's a very interesting course, but like other courses, there are some negative aspects, such as how stupid some of the work is, but it is kind of easy, so I probably shouldn't be complaining.
