B of Business Program Structure (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

the program structure on the UTS Website for B of Business is confusing. Can someone explain it to me better using headings of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year.

1 subject = 6 credit points (6 cp)

There are two parts to the degree:
Core Subjects = 48 cp
Stream choice (which means sub/majors, e.g., Accounting, Finance, Marketing) = 96cp

Total cp in a B.Bus at UTS = 144cp = 24 subjects = 4 subjects a semester.

Practically, this is what your degree may look like, on a full time basis:

Year (Y) 1:
Semester (S) 1: 4 core subjects
S2: 4 core subjects

Y2:
S1: 4 subjects from sub/majors
S2: 4 subjects from sub/majors

Y3:
S1: 4 subjects from sub/majors
S2: 4 subjects from sub/majors

The subjects which you choose outside of core subjects is entirely up to you.
If you want to pursue Marketing and Finance majors, you need to do subjects which fall under that major.
