Not at all. :) You can have only one, that would just leave you with heaps of electives which is why some students do two majors and many do a major and minor(s).

Yep. You must do one major minimum.

However, you still have to do at least 3 years of study (i.e. 144 credit points) to complete your degree. This means that outside of a single major, you have a bunch of free units which you can use to either study another major, or one or two minors, or a wide range of incohesive electives.

Oh I get it now, I read it wrong the first time...

How do I enroll? I've submitted the HECS form but on the "My Enrolment" page, there's no option for me to choose major...

Originally I was going to do 2 majors (english and history) as I plan to teach both but then I'd have no electives so I'm just doing history as a sub-major which still gives me 4 units as opposed to 6 so idm
