I was just looking at the courses for next year and my course is gone for new students!

I assume there is no B Eco or B Bus economics major's with law anymore?

Obviously there isn't since its not there...

I'm told the course wasn't popular enough to be viable..

But who cares... it doesn't affect those of us already at uws - it says the old courses are still available for continuing students, and the new ones are for "commencing students".

Not necessarily so - it is available for new and continuing student in 2007 - that being this year.

Given the info about the new course structure, i'd assume it's not available in 2008...

It B Eco/B Laws isn't on the course list for courses next year...and neither are any arts/comm/social science/laws combinations.

Now I don't know which course to change to to escape finance...

wow they changed the course significantly to what i did yay i missed out on all the finance and accounting and economics stuff yay

Your course is still available the way it was except now the univeristy has chosen you electives from a commerce background. This is in line with the more established uni's
