Hey i've been having a bit of trouble trying to writing a balanced essay. My core text is immigrant chronicle. My essay i'm currently refining consists of two core text poems, the Road not taken and two of my own related materials. i was wondering how to sustain a balanced argument when the core text id outnumbered by other texts. Do i discuss less techniques in the non-core texts. How many techniques per text do people recommend? Please help.

Good question. Everything is done in good measure to make your point clear. Usually people will allocate one or two paragraphs to one text, and how amny techniques you need depend again on what you need to make your argument a strong one. Different people will allocate different lengths to their texts, but it is best that you talk about eah text equally. Look at the sample essays on the resources page, it will give you an idea as to how thinks should be measured :)
