So those that have recieved a band 6/onstage nomination, what is your advice towards people doing their ips now? No one in my school has yet recieved a band 6 in drama, I really wanna try to be the first.

You should be well on your way to have your script and your rough blocking by now. Make sure you work on refining the emotional journey of your character. How do they start? What happens to them, and how does this change the way the behave or feel? That's one of the major problems with scripts is that students pick things that don't have any real substance.

I am just tempering and adding the small perhaps final tweaks to my script, and I have most of my blocking.
I have a bit of a mental/psychological script where the audience is required to think and work things out for themselves... and I think where I sometimes get stuck with, on the emotional side is how much to give away and how much to save for later in the piece.
