Band 6 - what raw marks? (1 Viewer)

What raw marks would be required for a band 6 for Maths?
I'm assuming 100+/120, but really hoping it's no more than that.

No.. it's usually 96+/120. However, it get's harder to go up band 6 as your raw mark increases from there.

Im sick to death of seeing this same post in every subject...seriously. It depends on the paper, like what millions of people have said before.

If they set the cut-off at 96 then they effectively have to align 24 marks from 90-100 (Although they pretty much only give one 100).

Thus getting another mark or two (raw) may not correspond to an increased aligned mark.
