Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State?

Aides: Obama plans to nominate Clinton

WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Barack Obama plans to nominate Hillary Rodham Clinton as secretary of state after Thanksgiving, a new milestone for a former first lady and a convergence of two political forces who contested mightily for the presidency.

OLD NEWS
If she takes it, that's it for her ambitions, but it will make a half decent administration.

I know you're smiling behind the computer screen, reading the news that Hilary Clinton will be secretary of state.

Oh, and in case anybody missed it, the Qaida issued a video tape abusing Obama and calling him a dirty slave. And apparently Obama's win means that Muslims need to perform more terror attacks against America.

You can tell when a dog is cornered.

Not really. She'll have to implement Obama's fairytale foreign policy, contend with Biden for Obama's ear over it, and lose her independent clout. With the GOP in ruins, it will mean a free ride for Obama, who's on track to be the most powerful President ever. I preferred her as head of the internal opposition from the Senate(insurgency if you will). Sure she may avert disaster in executive office, but I doubt that she'll be seriously listened to (preconditions etc), which will make her pretty impotent - another run at first lady in fact; tour the world as a government celebrity, wave etc.
It's funny because I was reading today that fopo was really the only area they both disagreed on - all their other policy stances were virtually identical.

I figured I only needed to match your level of evidence for weird claims like "Obama's foreign policy is a fairytale".

The GOP is pretty messed up.

The whole party is taken over by the religious right and Neo Cons and their RINO globalist lackey's.

They won't win an election on that type of platform.

If anyone is interested about the 13 Colonies, and story behind one of the lesser known founding fathers, John Adams, they should check out the HBO mini-series, "John Adams". It's nice to remind oneself about the radical system of governance that is the constitutional republic

Not everyone is a scholar like you
Franklin, Jefferson have a higher name recognition compared to John Adams, especially in australia, especially in my experience
