Hi everyone, im goign to start becon in unsw soon. My first preference tho was bcom, i wanted to double major in marketing and finance. My questions are:

sicne the core subjects are the same, is it easy to transfer in 2nd year? what do they ask for to transfer?

im guessing if i want to transfer then i should choose the elctives of one of the majors i wanna do,so

would u suggest to do the marketing electives or the finance electives? is it a good idea to do one of each?

thanks a lot in advance!

1. Yes it's "easy" to transfer in the sense that, all your subjects will be credited and there's minimal paperwork to be done. But you have to have done well in 1st year to be successful in transferring (i.e mid-credit to distinction average)
2. I suggest you do the electives of both - as if you don;t get the transfer, the subjects of the major you cannot do will form part of your "elective" subjects
