Do CS and join a lab for AI engineering.

if you want money then just go do mining but it's gonna be tiring doing fifo and it's not for anyone
otherwise software or civil is probably the best salary but u really should consider what you're interested in lol, if you have interests in mechatronics you'll still make decent money with that, just pick whatever you like rlly

with mining theres not many places that do half a year on half a year off schedules. usually its 7 days on, 7 days off or 14 days on, 14 days off. fifo also is 12 hours a day and youre living on the camp. fifo is a thing most people do short term, and the people who do it long term like 10+ years usually have awful relationships with those around them and are quite depressed. some people love fifo, but a lot of people do it and hate it, its pretty hard to tell if youre actually going to enjoy it or not.

the thing is though you can do non fifo jobs if youre on the non-physical labour side of mining (ive mostly done research related to enviro science and mining, so you may want to research this a bit yourself in case im wrong). there are options for you to do residental work where you work a 9-5 5 days a week, but youre gonna need to live close to the mine site, and that would be pretty rural or youd have to make a big commute. you also need to keep in mind that sites have lifespans, and they may not need you once the site closes and they move on to land rehabilitation (depends on your qualifications). you also can do in city office work which is mostly about planning. usually to get these jobs (office and res) you need to work fifo first for a few years. theyre less abundant than fifo jobs, and they pay less (but they still do pay very well) but you also dont have to do fifo.
