i know she's overrated but i like Beyonce the best. she's got the whole package - looks, voice and her dance moves are tight! im glad Destiny's Child are back together...'through with love' is a sick song. anyways, who's your fave?

edit: oh yeah, a special mention goes out to Aaliyah (RIP). how could i forget her??

oh damn, i forgot about Mya. she's ok, i don't think she sounds that good on her own though..she just sounds too girly. i only liked her on 'ghetto superstar' cos it contrasted nicely with the gritty male vocals.

Alicia Keys & Beyonce, in terms of voice that is. But musically I much prefer Alicia Keys.

i thought Britney was more poppy. i haven't listened to her latest stuff so i wouldn't know. i like Alicia but her songs aren't that great, unless someone can prove me wrong.

Damnit, i love them all. I also like Christina Milian, though she's no where near as good as Beyonce, Alicia or Monica. IMO them 3 are @ the top of the list.

in terms of voice ... beyonce or alicia keys
in terms of music beyonce or aaliyah

alicia only rarely comes up with good songs .
but when she does .. they're good

I don't actually think Alicia Keys has really THAT good a voice as everyone makes her out to have. But she's still cool.. i dig some of her songs. She puts alot of emotion in it. But for overall - Beyonce.

You have left ALOT of R&B artists that needs to be up there, because they need to be recognised, and a few names on the list that don't deserve to be there.

Aaliyah (RIP)
TLC (I know they are a group, RIP Lisa Lopez)

But of that list, I will chose Alicia Keys.

Definitely Alicia Keys gets my vote. I saw her live in October...great performance. I love Mary J. too though, and Beyonce, but her songwriting and musical skills make her run away from the rest of the pack. And her beautiful voice...
