im not the biggest fan of their papers they’re decent quality but a bit easy compared to the hsc

them giving out all the papers for free is quite a good move though

Yeah they are a bit easy but still a good resource if ur looking for papers

Im having trouble with this question for math advanced. it asks you to find the second derivative/the derivative of the first derivative .

You just have to derive the equation. Simplify it out to be

1/50 + 1/30x(16+x^2)^-1/2
and then apply your derivative rules

I understand everything except for the part where you have to simplify this part of the problem.

Does anyone know what Im doing wrong? I got these answers:
a) 1/2 correct
b) 1/3 WRONG
c) 2/3 WRONG
d) 1/2 WRONG
e) 1/2 WRONG
For example, I did qb) by doing 1/6 +1/6 = 1/3 but the answers only 1/6 for some reason, even though the greater than less than symbols INCLUDE 1 and 2, so both should be included. I don't understand this aaaaaaa can someone pls help thx

Okay never mind I think I figured it out. I think its because you use b - a. So if its 1<X<2, you do 2 -1 = 1 so 1*1/6 = 1/6. I should not be figuring this stuff out one day before the exam
