I still don't know why my macquarie biology only covers 2 of the electives, i hope the ones we do are one of them :p, but i'm hoping we do genetics elective

I personally can't believe that you guys think Conquering is complicated, it explains things in such a simple way, I can almost feel the author's patient tone and kind smile!

Macquarie covers pretty much the basics.
If you want complexity and detail, go for cambridge. (I've never seen one before)

just bought conquering chemistry, i love it, after skimming through it

It has so many visuals, colours, near the end of each module it points out where the syllabus dot point answers can be found :D:):) makes life so much easier

Macquarie covers the basics, and if you want information in more detail get Cambridge, I'm not sure if the excel one is good for Chemistry but I've heard people say it is bad :p

Excel..Excel??
Excel is only good for information and last minute studying, not exam tips or questions. Its a book where information is made as simple as possible.
For maths,it's ok. They give plenty of harder examples. Those study cards are pretty useless.

Arnold and Arnold Cambridge 4 Unit Mathematics
Fitzpatrick 4 Unit Mathematics
Terry Lee Advanced Mathematics
Chemistry:

Top Notes for each text
Cambridge Area of Study Student Guide
Board of Studies Student Answers
Mathematics Extension 1:
Cambridge Mathematics Extension 1 Study Guide
Success One Mathematics Extension 1
