Kiss = Keep it simple science

You could also talk to your teachers about them getting into the school as in issued text book which my school has done. I also noticed you do chemistry and its a worthwild investment for that, Kiss is my favourite chemistry textbook as it covers every dot point very well and has many useful questions
Thank you so much! You are a very good source of knowledge and help!

But unfortunately, I am dropping Chemistry so...yeah. But I will definitely get some for Biology, thanks.

I use Heinemann and Jacaranda but I find Jacaranda blabs on too much sometimes. There's a lot that's TOO detailed. I also like those colourful ones... the Surfing ones? They have a book for each topic.

there is a new one available for prelim08/hsc09 (seperately) which is very good by mcgraw.hill
its very syllabus based and so to the point
my teacher wrote it :)
but sadly we missed out
they also make text books for each of the options

KISS is the most simplistic 'textbook' ever. Definitely does not cover everything in enough detail but is good for an outline, i suppose it depends on what bands your aiming for in your HSC.
