What type of truss is best for distributing a point load at the centre of a bridge?
I'm trying to build a balsa bridge and have trouble coming up with truss designs. Thanks for the help

Sorry, that design won't work.
There are no hangers (connections) between the arch and the deck. You fail.

But if you look carefully at my diagram the bridge remains standing even with the point load on top. Hope this helps
