Terry Lee is the tops for 4u =)
Highly recommended. He's also avaliable at Pre-Uni Strathfield, but unless you have a scholarship there, you should go to his bankstown classes
Where exactly is his bankstown classes?

Probably not, but you could probaby ask him in person if he offers one-on-one tuition.

Anyway, in my opinion, Prior is the best tutoring college!

Yes, but he only has one student that does one to one tutoring. He has like 6 yr 12 maths classes and one yr 11 class. Ring his mobile number.

well .. i currently go to tipps myself and it`s 120 dollars for 4 weeks i.e. $30 a lesson. however, the fees vary depending if u have extra holiday lessons or exams. as for the website .. don`t think i`ve heard or known about it before ! but yes, the most popular tutoring colleges at my school are currently tipps, preuni and dr du .. which is at hurstville =) .. now i just need to find a really really good english tutor ^^

I heard tomatec is really good, though the people i know that went there didnt do well in the end.

Prior is way to expensive, if you can get a hand on their notes, that would be enough already!

Has anyone heard of TIPS at Yagoona? Half of my friends went there. They all did super well-apart from the fact that they had to do a test to get into to the coaching college and they were mostly selctive school students....

For maths, I went to Terry Lee (Author of Advanced mathematics, 4unit) I thought he was a terrific tutor and he improved me by 10 marks in the HSC for ME1. I was very happy with that.
Which subjects are the notes of Prior useful? IMO, tipps is very good for maths, but you have to be in the top classes.

^ For North Shore area there is Prior but the fees are about $2000-$4000ish and the style is they give you booklets and you have to complete them and page but page tutoring with the class.

Matrix Education (www.matrixeducation.com.au) is really good. Their teachers are all experienced with a doctorate in mathematics. The teaching material is also very useful, way better than school textbooks.

I got to Northshore coaching college The Randwick Centre.

If it wasn't for the Physics Teacher or the English teacher and the centre manager giving me a discount for doing all three subjects at a bargain price.

The material they give is so CRAP. The physics teacher is the best he goes beyond the material and asks people to bring in questions to do. In English we never use Northshore material but do our own texts.

Maths course is probably the only decent one.

The only reason I guess someone would go there, is it is one of a few coaching colleges that use real teachers not uni students.

Hey dats not true. North shore does employ uni students. they do dat for the maths and science in year 10. North shore parra.
