Hi, I'm considering doing vet science and want to know which uni offers the best course?

I going to Murdoch. Maybe look at the unis and what indiviual programs appeal to you. In the end you want to be a vet so in my opinion where everyou get accepted is good if you get more than one offer..choose what uni appeals more to you

In NSW it should be Usyd - it is so well-established.

Depends what animals you're looking at wanting to focus on. For smaller animals such as your at home cats and dogs then University of Sydney should be your first option, it is really well established. However, if you're looking at larger animals such as horses, cows, pigs and whatnot then Charles Sturt is probably the way to go.

Agreed there. Also depends how much prac you want to do. ie. csu does plenty because the animals are on campus whereas usyd doesn't have the animal capacity to do a lot. You'll have to go 1.5hrs out of syd to do so.
If you're looking at the prestige, sure go usyd. They've got a good course. Just depends what you're looking for and where.
No matter where you go veterinary jobs are not going to be as plentiful as things such as doctors. So as long as you do well it shouldn't matter. A credit a sydney doesn't equate to a distinction at csu. If you do well, you'll be more likely to get a job in the long run

Murdoch also have a farm on campus. I have heard from may people Sydney and Murdoch are the top schools for vet. Murdoch, Melbourne and Sydney have American accreditation. Something the others dont. JCU focus on tropical and rural aspects...so if your interested in murine or tropical diseases thats what they specialise in. CSU is a rural uni devoted to crafting committed rural vets. Adeliade is quite new but looks like they have sparkling new facilities...maybe focusing on equine. UQ is a mix practice like uni does large and small animals. I dont know much about sydney but have heard they are very good for small animals and Melbourne is also very highly regarded uni.

It really depends on what your looking for, as i do not recon it is simple as one better than the other. they all will have their strengths and weaknesses... in the end...do your research on each uni.....and make the choice on youfr own. In the end you will be employed based on your compentency not university.

Hey There are so many universities for BVSc................But I want to suggest you that Gulzaar Group of University is best for BVSc............Any type of course this institute provide............This is really a best university for higher courses and education...........I am also doing MBA from this university and Other engineering courses are also available here..................
