I've been wondering, why should marriage be restricted to two humans?
If we accept that a man and a horse are in a loving, consensual relationship, what is wrong with them celebrating this with a civil union?

Who are we to judge their love as somehow less worthy than that of two humans?

If the man dies, he can then be sure his horse will be looked after and receive a proper inheritance and not just be turned into pet food.

... If you can demonstrate that even most animals while being 'lovingly' played around with are in fear/physical pain then obviously I'd be against it - The point is that you can't.
