Is Biology needed for a bachelor of Medicine degree?
Most Universitys require only Chemistry as the only science needed to gain the degree. I want to drop biology as im doing 14 Units and i want to do 12 units and im not enjoying it which could cause me to lose marks later on.

Whats your opinion on it?? Should i drop it to focus on my other subjects?

I picked ancient history too but i had to drop it because Biology was on the same line :(

Yeh , but if you need biology , you caqn always do aa bridging course , make sure you know about cells , well maybe the year 12 topics , but it's not compulsory . CHEM IS !

You could always do a bridging course at Uni. Thats what im planning to do IF i decide to do Medicine. And thats if i do well at Chemistry myself. I hear it good to have biology as a background knowledge for Medicine.

It's good to have knowledge of biology before embarking on a Medicine-related career.

Note that whilst bridging courses help get your knowledge up to scratch within a particular subject, please just realise you are literally cramming two years worth of work into a couple of weeks and the workload will be intense.
