I started watching this again lately, when my boyfriend downloaded all the seasons.
I've seen all of season One and Two, but haven't gotten around to watching the rest.

As far as he says, they get better as they go.
Season one, although it was amusing, was a little dull, and I can agree that season two picked up heaps. The comedy was wittier, and the storyline was stronger.

But yes.

OH HELL YEAH.

I love Blackadder, we've got the box set.

Personally I love the fourth season, with Melchett and Darling. And both episodes with Flashheart are standouts in their season.
edit- also BEER is fantastic. I love wikiquote.

I really should crack open the box and watch some.

The 3rd and 4th season was the best with hugh laurie. haha, and he looks so different in House now.
