ahh thinking of getting a dvd burner, but need to know other things as well. there are two different dvd types, DVD-R and DVD+R. which one is better and why? and which one is better out of DVD-RW and DVD+RW? thanx ;)

dvd burners are npw +r/rw -r/rw compatable
also if u get the new ones u can burn -r DL discs!
meh just get ur dvd burner first
-r/+r is basically the same
but for movies i recommend +r
data -r

Some of the pioneer ones are going for alright prices and i think 107 + (or A07+ if you buy bundled) all do Dual Layer.

Got myself a DVR 108 for 100 bucks.

lol yeah but how long before blu-ray takes over regular dvd? a looooong time, if ever. :)

personally i think the name sounds a lot more consumer-friendly than blu-ray
