Bleeding nose and mouth (1 Viewer)

I just got a phone call from my relatives in the philippines. My 65 yr old grandmother was doing the washing and all of a sudden her nose started bleeding and blood was coming out of her mouth too. The family have taken her to the hospital but I am worried and I feel useless because I can't be there. I've been researching a bit....do you think it is just an intense nosebleed? Can anyone think of any reasons behind this?

It sounds so scary I haven't got another phonecall so I hope everything will be okay. Its the philippines though.....they could have misdiagnosed her or just sent her home....
