Does anyone recommend any electives that I should choose for 2nd year of med science that are less intense and easier to achieve good grades?

Outside of Medical Science core units, if you are good and/or enjoy mathematics, consider doing some maths units.

Electives regarding the philosophy and ethics of sciences are typically your arts-y and less intensive units, e.g. HPSC1000 Bioethics. Others can be found here.

Under your degree, you are allowed to take up to 12 units from other faculties, which you could probably use on Arts electives, or anything else that interests you.
