I think I have read that book!!
Is that the one where there is a disabled guy who always gets teased & then they find his diary & he comments suicide?
Nah. It's the one with the chick who doesn't talk because she got hit in the face with battery acid and her father is in prison. She goes to a boarding school.

Well there is your problem!

If you really like a book & the main dies, etc.
you feel very sad.

Oh yeah now I remember,
we had to read that book in year 8, I didn't really find it sad, maybe because we read it as a whole class.

To Kill A Mockingbird.....I love the ending, Angela's Ashes, The Elenium I think when I thought Ehlana was going to die lol....I was in yr 5 OK....and I'm actually ashamed to say, 'Letters for Emily' by Cameron Wright. Looking for Alibrandi. And the Three Swans - before I found out that book had little factual basis and the author was just out for the money.

Catch-22 had me in tears, first from laughter, then from sorrow. In general it's an extremely funny book, but there were one or two chapters towards the end when Yossarian is walking through the streets of Rome in anarchy that did make me shed a tear or 2.
