LEAGUE 2 : The rules are as follows- You have to register as a new user to join this league, otherwise you wont be able to field two teams. Its one team per account.

Cool. I'm in for both comps. Damn Henry is expensive . Not choosing him is almost the best thing that I can do for my team.

He's so worth it, investing a lot of money in one player concentrates a fair few points and that's good for your captain bonus.

Well.. in for another season. Is it just me or are all the decent defenders a lot more expensive this season? It's taken me so long to put a decent looking team together. Anyone care to share their starting squads?

I've gone with:

GKs: Robinson (5.5), Lee (3.5)

DFs: Cole (7), Mellberg (5), A Ferdinand (5), Dawson (5.5), Neill (5)

MFs: Barton (7), Valencia (5), Duff (8.5), Nolan (8), Gonzalez (7)

FW: Harewood (8), Rooney (11.5), Yakubu (8.5)

For the forwards, I'm more or less sticking to those who had success last season. Yakubu always puts them in, Harewood is good value to do the business again, and of course Rooney's always reliable.

Midfielders- Valencia very impressive at the WC, but it's hard to see him being bad value at 5m anyway. If Duff doesn't get injured, he'll play a lot more than he did at Chelsea, and should get his share of goals and assists. Gonzalez I picked because there's just been so much anticipation of his arrival at Liverpool. He scored something like 5 goals in 8 games for Sociedad in the 2nd half of last season, so here's to hoping he justifies the hype. Barton and Nolan were both top performers last year and are decent value.

Defenders- Had to be a bit more creative here. While I'm not supremely confident of Arsenal's defence, Cole is surely going to Chelsea anyhow. When he does, his value will quickly jump by .5-1.0 point, giving me some extra money to boost my ranks. Neill takes penalties for Blackburn and is pretty damn good at them, also needed some Aussie presence. Tottenham was solid at the back last season and Dawson helped keep a lot of those clean sheets. Ditto Ferdinand at West Ham. I'm pretty confident that Villa will do a lot better this year under O'Neill, so hopefully Mellberg will get a few clean sheets early on in the season.

Goalies: Not much to speak of. Robinson is solid of course. Lee.. hopefully he's first choice for Watford. Whatever
